At it's most basic, every faction has a "tier 1" light basic transport vehicle, a "tier 2" APC type, and a "tier 3" main battle tank. For the WA, this is the Humvee (basic transport), "Defender" wheeled IFV (ironically enough based on the Russian BTR 90..), and "Thunder" MBT, a sort of hybrid of the M60 and M1 Abrams. However I'm also thinking some "drone" tanks, small remotely controlled all terrain vehicles (not robots/ androids, trying to keep a degree of realism) mounting miniguns, Stinger/ TOW missile launchers, railguns (more on them later) and a "Point Defence" drone with small lasers designed to knock out incoming projectiles. Helicopters too, and lots of them- possibly an Airborne/ Air Cavalry force list (think Apocalypse Now) Psyops units that can create false units and interdict enemy communications. Exotica- every force should have something a little "out there". Players who want more realism can simply avoid these units. For the WA, this is based around technology reverse engineered from the Roswell crash- this is where the railguns come in, a WA-specific weapon that can punch through the thickest armour. Also "Roswellium" a light but phenomenally tough material. Possibly a D"ARPA" force list that is heavy in these items? Suggestions, people....

JM,
I've been pondering the rules and specifics (and doing alot of posting tonight! LOL) Maybe the Defender should be tweaked to represent the Stryker ICV. Then too, I think there may be alot of room for additional vehicles beside just these three. Once the basics are there, you can do almost any number of additions and plug them back into the game system!

Ah, yes, that looks like just the thing- a grown up version of the LAV-25? I've got a "modular" combat vehicle planned as a "commercially available" one for the Jihad Pact and FutureCorp (I want them to have a private army feel), so don't want to stray too close to that, but a fire support and APC configuration could work
